HIGH SCHOOL CURLING *DAILY GRAPHIC EVENT *GRAND AGGREGATE WINNERS
CURLING WINNERS – Richard Pressey’s rink won the Daily Graphic event at the 1973 Portage High Schools bonspiel. Richard defeated Garnet Cairns in the final game which was decided by the last rock. Murray Lyons, Youth Repost Co-ordinator for the Daily Graphic presented the trophies to members of the winning rink. From the left are skip Pressey, Lyons, third Terry Lumsden, second Helen Pacula and lead Bev Nicholson.
