ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOLS BONSPIEL EVENT WINNERS
FIRST EVENT Dan Bonar’s rink won the Lo-Cost Drug Mart in the Portage High School bonspiel. The Potage Collegiate rink was presented with their trophies by Orval Wagner in the centre. From the left in the picture are Bonar, third Debbie Arsenault, second Iris Moody and lead Noreen Bull.
SECOND EVENT Narvey’s event, the second event in Portage High School bonspiel was won by Mike Hammel rink of Portage. Mel Narvey presented the winning rink with her trophies. From the left are Hammel, Brian Simpson, Mr. Narvey, Dorah King and Lynn-Marie MacIntosh.
THIRD EVENT Richard Pressey’s rink won the third event, the Darragh Shoe event, in the Portage High School bonspiel Friday at the Portage Curling Club. Bob Thompson, president of the PCI curling exeutive, presented the trophies at to the winners. From the left are Pressey, third Terry Thompson second Helen Pascula and lead Bev Nicholson.
