DOUG JORDAN’S PCI RINK LOSES OUT ON LAST ROCK FOR MANITBO HIGH SCHOOL CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP AND TRIP TO NEW BRUNSWICK
CURLING FINALISTS Dough Jordan’s PCI rink lost on the final rock of the deciding game in Manitoba High School championships Sunday at Morden. They are pictured above with the spoils of their three days in the 16-rink finals. From the left are skip Doug Jordan with his broken broom, third Bob Thompson, second Drew Miller and lead Greg Jordan. All four received trophies and crests. They curled seven games and after losing their first meeting to Jerry Haight they defeated him soundly twice. They curled twice Friday and Saturday and had three Sunday. To reach the Morden competition the won 11 of 13 games in their zone playoffs.
