PCI ANNUAL BONSPIEL WINNERS
HIGH SCHOOL CURLING CHAMPS – The Owens rink of High Bluff, winners of the Fairbairn even in the Portage Collegiate bonspiel. From the left are Brain Owens, Brian Zeck, Margaret Bergen, and Ruth Sturgeon.
WINNERS OF THE NARVEY EVENT in the Portage Collegiate bonspiel – the Dale Gillespie rink of Macdonald. Skipper Gillespie holds the Narvey trophy and the team members lined up behind him are Tom McCartner, Pat Donnelly and Carol Glennie.
WINNERS OF THE DAILY GRAPHIC TROPHY, third event in the Portage Collegiate bonspiel, was Zennie Glesby’s rink. Zennie is flanked by third man Gilmore Crewson and second man Doug Sameels. Missing from the picture is lead Janice Garven.
THE TRINITY RINK, winners of the Callan event in the Portage Collegiate bonspiel. Treffry defeated the Glesby rink Monday in the finals of the event which is open only to PCI rinks. Members of the team are Doug Treffry, Gordon Tuffford, Janette McDonald and Dennis Thompson.
