Dave Wendt, second from the left, receives the Harvey Halwas Memorial Trophy, an annual award to the player best exemplifying sportsmanship and ability in the Central Manitoba Fastball league. The presentation was made Thursday night at the Portage Clubbers’ windup dinner in Nick’s Café. Wendt is centre-fielder for Fergie’s Blues. Taking part in the Clubbers’ organization.
