DETROIT RED WINGS STOP-OVER IN TOWN
VISITORS IN PORTAGE FRIDAY were the Detroit Red Wings, and their farm club the Edmonton Flyers. The team stopped at the Mayfair Hotel for pre-game meal prior to their clash in Brandon, won by Wings 8-2.
