ELM CREEK JUVENILES MANITOBA JUVENILE “B” CHAMPIONS
Manitoba champions| Elm Creek Juveniles captured the Manitoba Juvenile B hockey championship this season as they defeated Souris in the final. Front row from the left are Phil Kroeker, Allan Kroeker, Bruce Sisson, Jim Tkachyk and Doug Orchard. Second row – coach Scotty Sisson, Rick Feybert, Murray Kissock, Kevin McGregor, Gerry Syrenile, and manager George Laing. Third row – Bob McFeadden, Neil Riediger, Brad Hardy, Dan Laing, Dave Kuzyk and Bob Borgoyne. Missing were Ted Tkachyk and Les Laing. Elm Creek competed this season in the Portage Juvenile League with Portage Midgets and Juveniles and Stonewall. Elm Creek were up in first place most of the season but lost in two straight games to Portage Midgets in the semi-finals.
