Provincial Council of Women:
A Life membership to the provincial council of women was presented Thursday to Mrs. W.R. Wayman, right recording secretary of the council. Mrs. O.W. Struthers, president of the provincial council, presented the pin. Mrs. W.B. Doerksen, left, president of the Winnipeg Council, read the citation of Mrs. Wayman’s work in the council. There were 42 delegates at the luncheon in the first Presbyterian Church were the presentation was made.
Receiving the Honor of a life membership in the Provincial Council of Women was Mrs. G.R. Roe of the Brandon Council. Mrs. Roe was absent and it was received by Mrs. R. McPhail, left, president of the Brandon council, who spoke highly of Mrs. Roe’s work. Mrs. O.W. Struthers, president of the provincial council, presented the pin. Seated is Mrs. N. R. Jasper of Deleau, Man chairman of the women’s committee of the Manitoba Federation of Agriculture and Co-operation.
