City’s Cenotaph Unveiling And Rededication Decoration Day Parade
The Unveiling of the cenotaph during its rededication here Sunday is conducted by Mrs. G.T. Wright, past Regent of Prairie Gateway Chapter, IODE, who conducted the original campaign to secure the cenotaph following World War One.
The Unknown Soldier- Mrs. Chas. Preston places a white cross and wreath to the memory of the Unknown Soldier following rededication of the cenotaph at services here Sunday. She is accompanied by Sgt. J. McCulloch of the local militia unit.
The March Past- The decoration day parade begins its march past port, concluding services here Sunday afternoon. Shown giving the salute the 26th Field Artillery Regiment (SP) RCA, followed by before GC J.C. Frizzle, CO of RCAF station, South- are Major A.G. Hussey and Capt. O.D. Hancock of the honor guard and color party.
