Portage Royals Win CMFL Championship- In 7 Games
Portage Royals, first place finishers and playoff winners in the Central Manitoba Fastball league this season. Royals won both the Clayton Edmondson trophy as league winners and the Joe Chenier trophy as playoff champions. 1971 was only the Royals second year of operation.
