Crescentview students leave Saturday for bus trip to Sarnia

Sixteen grade nine students from Crescentview school leave this afternoon for Sarnia, Ont., to return a trip made by Sarnia students earlier in March. On Thursday afternoon, Oliver Pelk, chairman of the Portage School Board made a presentation of gifts and letters of introduction which the students will present to the Sarnia school board. Marie Plizka accepted the letters on behalf of the students. Other members of the group, from the left to right in the front row include Ella Foster, Bernadette Parrack, Karen Sharp, David Young and teacher chaperone Ernie Shwaluk. In the back row, l to r, are John Mitchell, Kelly Werbiski, Jonathon Ford, Stuart Jackson and trustee Keith Pickell.
