Prince Charles debaters - Cathie Mutala 2nd - to represent Manitoba in national finals

Cathie Mutala (centre front) was the second place winner in the provincial high school debating championships, and will be one of six Manitoba students to represent this province in the national championships to be held in Alberta in May, 1972. The six students were all participants in the provincial championships. From the left are Allen Martin, Dawn Cherkas, Bev Henderson, Kim Woyiwada and Kevin Brooker. All are grade nine students at Prince Charles school and the only competitors who were not high schoolers. Seated in front with Cathie are teachers and coaches D. Whyte and Mrs. A. Tufford.
