Victoria School recognition day

Mrs. Belle Buggey and Mrs. May Leslie, who are retiring this year from teaching, received recognition at the Victoria Home and School Achievement Day. Mrs. Buggey has been at Victoria School for 14 years and Mrs. Leslie has taught in Portage 14 years, 11 of them at Victoria school. Sandra Lyons and Bob Tate presented gifts to the ladies on behalf of 7 and 8 Literary Society as well as the other pupils throughout the school who had enjoyed classes with Mrs. Buggey and/or Mrs. Leslie. A presentation was also made to G. Little who is leaving Victoria school. Alan Owens made the presentation.
