CFB Portage la Prairie - Susanne Franklin, Lt. Gov., Whipper Watson head guest list of 15th annual Timmy dance

Lt. Gov. joins “Tammy”

Lt. Gov. W. J. McKeag and Mrs. McKeag along with Manitoba "Tammy", Susanne Franklin of Brandon, were special guests at the 15th annual Timmy Dance Friday night at CFB Portage. Another national figure, "Whipper Billy" Watson made a return visit to the city, this time using a cane as a result of a traffic mishap. More than a decade ago, Mr. Watson at the peak of a wrestling career, participated in an Easter Seal function here. In the photo welcoming Tammy is Timmy dance chairman MWO J. A. Arsenault in white Stetson. Standing, from the left, Mrs. McKeag, Lt. Gov. McKeag, "Whipper" Watson, and Frank Kovitz, of Winnipeg, president of the Society for Crippled Children and Adults of Manitoba.
