Air Commodore F. S. Carpenter is pictured on his arrival Sunday at RCAF [text missing] Portage la Prairie, being greeted by his son, Flying Officer Fred Carpenter. Air Com[text missing] Carpenter, who is Air Officer Commanding RCAF Maritime Air Command with headq[text missing] in Halifax, N.S., was on his way to RCAF Station Comox, B.C., when he stopped at Southp[text missing]or a short visit with his son. Flying Officer Carpenter, a graduate of CMR at St. Jean, Quebec, and RMC Kingston, Ontario, is at present a student pilot at RCAF Station Portage la Prairie.
