Major Fawcett Taylor Branch - Mortgage burning
The mortgage went up in flame at the Major Fawcett Taylor Memorial Branch, Royal Canadian Legion, Portage la Prairie Saturday afternoon marking another milestone. Hugh Rea, right, put the document aflame. Others taking part in the ceremony were Percy Boughton, left, holding the tray and branch president Jack Porterfield, centre, who was emcee.
