Major Fawcett Taylor branch presents $1,000 to Portage and District Association for Mentally Retarded sheltered workshop
Major Fawcett Taylor branch, Royal Canadian Legion and its auxiliary donated $1,000 to the Portage and District Association for Mentally Retarded to be used for purchasing equipment for a proposed sheltered workshop in the Boy Scout headquarters. Jack Porterfield at right, branch president made the presentation to Doug Jones of the retardate association Tuesday night in the Legion Hall.
