"March of Dimes" mother's march

“The Marching Mothers” were put into a happy frame of mind by the March of Dimes chairman Doug Muirhead, second from the right, before they were sent out Wednesday night during the March of Dimes annual door-to-door blitz. A few of the canvassers in the photo are from the left, Mrs. Charles McPhedran, Mrs. P. Boughton, Mrs. Bert Johnson, J. Oshust and Charlie Guichon of the K of C which sent a large group to assist the Canadian Legion during the evening.
