Legion provincial command essay award to Robert McVety of P. C .I.

The Provincial Command award of the Royal Canadian Legion for an essay on "Why Should Remembrance Day be Observed" has been won by Robert McVety, 14, of Portage Collegiate who also won the local and regional prizes. Above he receives his award from D. W. Raine, representing Command. Others are, left, local branch past president Archie McDonald, and right, secretary Hugh Rea.
