Legion ‘March of Dimes’ finalized - $4,200 cheque presented to the society

A cheque for just over $4,200 is presented here by Rae Smith, chairman of the March of Dimes committee of the Royal Canadian Legion branch, to Mrs. Phyllis Wright. The contribution is all monies collected during the January campaign, including $1,400 from senior NCOs at the Canadian Forces Base here, sponsors of the annual Timmy Dance. The presentation was made Monday night to help the Society for Crippled Children and Adults in Manitoba.
