Legion members prepare for Xmas Santa parade to be held Dec. 8
Getting ready for Santa — Members of the Royal Canadian Legion branch in Portage are spending their evenings in the back of a downtown garage readying a float for the Santa Claus parade here December 8. That's Bob Rennie at left, intent on fastening some decorative material while Charlie McPhedran lends a helping hand. Work is reported on close to 30 floats for the big day.
