Legion Auxiliary presents $1100 to parent orgaization [sic]
The ladies help out — Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian branch in Portage la Prairie this week presented a cheque for $1,100 to the branch to help carry out the work of the organization. Making the presentation is Auxiliary president Mrs. Jean Gibson and with her is Auxiliary treasurer Mrs. Jane Haven. Accepting on behalf of the branch is president Ken Holland.
