Canadian Forces decoration - Sgt. Thos. A. Chesney
The Canadian Forces decoration for long and efficient service has been awarded Sgt. Thos. A. Chesney, a member of the 38th Field Artillery Battery, RCA, in Portage for more than 15 years. The award is presented here by Major V. H. Dyer, officer commanding the Portage unit. Sgt. Chesney has recently been retired from the unit.
