SONIC “500” TO FLIN FLON FOR PROVINICAL INTERMEDIATE “C” FINALS
SONIC 500 won the Portage Commercial Fastball League championship this season as they went through a 12-game schedule undefeated and won six of seven playoff games, From the left, Barry Sadlet, Barry Schmidt, John Wiebe, Harold Cress, Bill Fast, Stu Tunningley, Stan Radomski and Ernie Shwaluk. Missing from the picture are Mel Rintoul, Barry Green, Randy Clark, Arnold Bachalo, Bobby Stewart, Wally Fast, Bob Fast, and John Kunko. Sonic represented Portage in the Senior C fastball championships at Flin Flon on Labour Day weekend.
