Preparation for the hard surfacing of Royal Road
Here are a couple of pictures taken on Royal Road South by the Daily Graphic photographer. That's Dan McVicar in the top picture as he makes his rounds to the City Work Crews. Below we have workers lowering the sewer top in prepatation [sic] of the paving project. The excavation at the sides of the road show the Manitoba Telephone Systems project of going underground with the the [sic] telephone lines on Royal Road.
