La Verandrye [La Verendrye] Grade 6 Rehearse “Green Grass of Wyoming” for March 1 Presentation
Youthful performers
This is one of approximately 25 scenes in the La Verendrye School Grade V and VI Drama Club’s four act play “Green Grass of Wyoming” produced and directed by Mr. Abe Friesen. Included in this scene from the left are Cindy Schmidt, Wayne Schmidt, Jeffery Irwin, Tom Dixson and Gerry Hennessey. The 28 students in the performance have practiced at least once a week since October on the production which will be staged this Tuesday at 1 p.m. for La Verendrye Grades three to six and rural Grade V’s. Wednesday afternoon’s performance will be at 1 p.m. for all Grade V classes in Portage and the evening performance at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday is for general public.
