Victoria School recognition day

The Victoria School patrol boys received the Lions' Club School Patrol Shield for the best school patrol in the city (second year in a row). Presentation of the shield was made by S/Sat. R. S. Brown, R.C.M.P.. From left to right are Craig Maxwell, Randy Gilmore, Terry Baskier, Kenneth Sloik, Peter Bunnik, Lyall Scarr, Ray Moar, Bruce Brands, Allan Rutledge, Ted Webster and Garry Batters. Seated in front from the left are Barry Johnson, John Pliszka and Bill McDonald. Missing from the picture is Raymond Currie. Tribute was paid to the faithful and worthy effort of the patrol boys in the city and their sponsors the Portage Lions.
