Victoria School awards

Nine students at Victoria School in Portage la Prairie this week were awarded certificates of merit by the Manitoba Education Week Assocation [Association]. The nine are members of a Grade 8 English class taught by Mrs. Voesenak. Victoria principal Wm. H. Bradley presented the certificates to the group above. Left to right are Sandra Lyons, Valerie Gilroy, Marion Moffat, Julia Falk, Peggy Smith, Catherine Cox, Heather Rice. Seated are Terry Andres and Marvin Streik. Seated in centre is Mrs. Voesenak.
