Portage Collegiate Inst. achievement nite

Some 50 parents visited the Portage Collegiate Monday afternoon as a part of Education Week, and saw students at work in the different classrooms of the school. The pictures above depict two of the departments of the Collegiate, the one on the left is the Industrial Arts room for boys, where classes are conducted under the direction of Victor Moskal. On the right is the Home Economics room under the direction of Miss Francis McColl. Education week continues today with visits at the Prince Charles school, and tomorrow at the Victoria. Parents visit the students in class and then students are dismissed at 3.15 to give the parents an opportunity to speak with the teachers.
