E. E. Payne of Oakville and largest potato

Largest of potatoes brought into the Daily Graphic in the past number of weeks, is this three and three-quarter pound Pontiac held by E. E. Payne of Oakville. The potato, grown in his own garden. Mr. Payne feels, is a record size. This is the first time he has seen a potato this size and is looking for a challenger to his potato. Mr. Payne is a retired Pool Elevator man, whose hobby is gardening.
