AN IMPRESSIVE SIGHT is this photo of the concrete skeleton of the diversion gates which, in time of Ass will control the flow of flood waters into the Portage diversion west of the city. Work will continue all this and the diversion is to be ready for the spring of 1970. Total cost of the dam, diversion gates and [blank] $19 million range.
