Reading, creative writing, arithmetic, as well as art, science, history and even health studies and skills have gone into turning the Fort la Reine school auditorium into a miniature “outer space.” Teachers were assisted in co-ordinating the pilot project by Mrs. Bev Aronovitch of the curriculum branch of the department of education. She even had youngsters participating in space drama. Here (l-r) David Pankratz, Leslie Beam and Randy Calvert examine this space missile poised for take-off.
